Donation and Common Questions

  • How do I donate?

    You can drop donations off at either one of our locations Monday through Saturday from 10 am until 6 pm, no appointment is needed.

  • Do you pick up donations?

    Yes! Furniture that you are unable to drop off, we offer a free donation pickup service. To schedule a pickup, we ask that you email us pictures of the items you would like to donate to thrift@theothersideacademy.com. Please include your phone and address in the email and our scheduler will then assist you with setting that up. ** During the warmer months please be aware that pick ups could be up to two weeks out.**

  • What items can I donate?

    We accept gently used clothing, housewares, furniture, working appliances, exercise equipment, rugs, and home decor.

  • What do you not accept for donation?

    We do not accept box or projection TVs, tires, upright pianos, organs, hazardous chemicals, paint, baby furniture, medical equipment, or items that are damaged, stained, or torn.

  • Do you deliver?

    Yes! Local delivery starts as low as $40.

  • Are donations to the Thrift Boutique eligible for tax write-off?

    Yes! We will provide you with a donation receipt when you drop donations off, or have them picked up.

  • I love what you all are doing! Can I volunteer?
